Infrastructure Projects

I have held discussions on two large infrastructure projects this morning. First, the solution to the Missing Link problem, which is moving on; and secondly, the expansion of Heathrow Airport, the importance of which is growing.

Westminster Africa Business Group

Delighted to have Sir Stephen O'Brien, KBE as our guest speaker at the Westminster Africa Business Group's Annual Dinner. Sir Stephen was previously MP for Eddisbury and Undersecretary of State for International Development.


Transport Secretary Chris Grayling reaffirmed his support for the implementation of the solution to the Missing Link problem. And along with Cllrs Kevin Cromwell and Vernon Smith we presented him with the case for improvements to the A46 Tewkesbury and Ashchurch.

Meeting with NFU

Meeting with local NFU members in the constituency to discuss a range of issues such as rural broadband provision, rural policing and developing UK skills to deliver on future agricultural productivity.
