Overcoming barriers to zero carbon homes

I met with constituents to discuss issues surrounding renewable energy, including how the government can help support and promote the industry. We discussed a wide range of issues including ideas on how to overcome barriers to zero carbon homes.  

Gloucester Jobs Fair

There is a Gloucester Jobs Fair on Wednesday 27th June 2018 @ The Guildhall, Gloucester, 10am to 1pm.

This will be free to attend and there will be over 20 exhibitors from various sectors and industries recruiting on the day.

No registration is required.

Meeting with National Farmers Union

On Friday I met with our local National Farmers Union to discuss current priorities across the local farming community. I look forward to further discussions on police funding, flood protection, halal slaughter, bovine TB, and countryside stewardship.

Missing Link progress

Gloucestershire MPs met with Roads Minister Jesse Norman to discuss the next steps towards fixing the Missing Link problem. The discussions are going well and progress is indeed being made. Options will be presented to the public next February.

Ashchurch Brownies learn about Parliament

Ashchurch Brownies show me their paintings of the Houses of Parliament this evening. I enjoyed visiting and having a questions and answers session with them. Thanks to the 'Owls' for inviting me.

Little Smarties Nursery

With the owners and the team at the new Little Smarties nursery at Pecked Lane, Bishop's Cleeve in advance of their opening on Monday. Formerly the Royal British Legion club, the building has been expertly adapted and is a very attractive venue. I wish everyone well.
