At Treasury Questions I asked the government to consider taking steps to reduce the administrative burden of tax compliance on small businesses. The FSB estimates that the average small business loses three working weeks a year to tax compliance.

I have made a submission to Highways England in support of the Option 30 solution to the Missing Link problem, believing it offers the best way forward in reducing the congestion and accident rate on these roads. The consultation ends on 29th March.
