Great to see that Royal Mail has revealed a collection of eight 'Special Stamps' reimagining key battles from across the years of the Wars of the Roses, including the Battle of Tewkesbury, one of the defining battles.

A National Day of Reflection

Remembering all those who have lost their lives due to the Coronavirus pandemic, including my father, Jim, who died in hospital on 5th May 2020. May they all rest in peace. And deepest sympathies to all those who have been bereaved.

Volunteering at Churchdown vaccination centre

I was very pleased to work as a volunteer this morning at the vaccination centre at Churchdown Community Centre. The whole operation was brilliantly organised, very efficient and cheery, so thanks and congratulations to all staff and volunteers. Keep it up!

I think it’s important to recognise that the Bill which is being debated in no way relates to the unfortunate incidents we saw in Clapham last weekend. That was about alleged infringements of the Coronavirus restrictions whereas this Bill is about issues more general.

Covid-19 Roadmap 2021

The Prime Minister has now outlined his Covid 2021 roadmap.

From 8 March, people in England will see restrictions start to lift and the government’s four-step roadmap offer a route back to a more normal life.

Gotherington Development

I have submitted an objection to the Inspector raising my concerns about this development. I am raising questions about this decision with the Housing Minister and have formally requested that the Minister calls the decision in.
