The A417/A419 provides an important route between Gloucester and Swindon that helps connect the Midlands/North to the South of England. The Missing Link causes many problems for road users and those who live or work in the area.
I am honoured to have been appointed as the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Angola and Zambia.
We now have 31 parliamentarians covering 69 countries who together will promote trade, encourage investment and drive our success as a newly independent trading nation.
Aerospace is very important to my constituency and I therefore welcome the government’s announcement of a further £400 million of public and private sector funding to pay for cutting-edge aerospace research and development projects.
The Prime Minister announced that he is merging the Foreign & Commonwealth Office with the Department for International Development so that the UK’s interests are better protected and that we can better target our aid budget.
